The Sandcastles Montessori Preschool is located on the corner of Tuckertown Road and Post Road in Wakefield, Rhode Island.
The Montessori Teaching Method is the philosophy of the Sandcastles Montessori Preschool. The program is child directed, individualized, and has small group learning. The large classroom is quiet, neat and organized with a prepared child size environment and specialty hands-on materials to build self-esteem within the children. The children are developing physically, emotionally, cognitively, and socially. The teachers are concerned for each individual child, encourage parent involvement, and plan field trips for the families. There is a strong sense of community at the school.
